I WILL STRIKE DOWN UPON THEE...WITH ANGER AND FURIOUS VENGEANCE
Vengeance is just:
Justly we rid the earth of human fiends
Who carry hell for pattern in their souls.
But in high vengeance there is noble scorn:
It tortures not the torturer, nor gives
Iniquitous payment for iniquity.
The great avenging angel does not crawl
To kill the serpent with a mimic fang;
He stands erect, with sword of keenest edge
That slays like lightning.
The Resurrection of a damned soul.
Wrath Forceful, often vindictive anger. Punishment or vengeance as a manifestation of anger.
Divine retribution for sin
[center] A surging, seething, murmuring crowd of beings that are human only in name, for to the eye and ear they seem naught but savage creatures, animated by vile passions and by the lust of vengeance and of hate.
Revenge is an act of passion; vengeance of justice. Injuries are revenged; crimes are avenged
Vengeance Will Be Mine and let thy know my name, Wrath and you will tremble with fear that the gravity of it will make you bow before my very feet.
